John Spradling

Mr. Spradling joined Tailwater Capital in July 2017 and is responsible for evaluating, executing, and monitoring the firm’s investments. He serves on the boards of Blue Tide Environmental and Freestone Acquisition Corp.

Mr. Spradling has over 10 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Spradling worked as an Associate at NGP Energy Capital Management, an energy private equity firm. Prior to NGP, Mr. Spradling worked as an Analyst at Barclays in the natural resources investment banking group in Houston. Mr. Spradling earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College.
